Joseph Pothen - next MAM Chairman
Mr. Joseph Pothen-MAM Founding President &
current Board of Trustee Vice-Chairman was
unanimously elected by the
General Council at the meeting held in MAM
International Head Quarters in Towson, Maryland on
May 1, 2011.
He will take over as Chairman on January 1, 2012.
Mr. Thomas p. Antony-current Chairman-thanked Mr.
Pothen for taking over the Chairmanship from him and
wished him well.
MAM OFFERS GLOBAL AWARDS AGAIN-Both in Literary & Journalism
Malayalee Association of Maryland (MAM) is conducting yet another GLOBAL AWARDS in Literary & Best Journalist areas. This decision was made at the General Council held on May 1, 2011 at MAM’s Towson International Headquarters. This is MAM’s 6th GLOBAL EVENT since MAM was formed in 2002.
At a Press Conference MAM Chairman Mr. Thomas P. Antony outlined the details of the 2012 Global Competitions.
Entries in following categories published between January 1, 2010 and March 31, 2011 must be submitted on or before January 15,2012.
Poem
Short Story
Novel
Young Writers (Age: 10-18) will be awarded separately.
The Judges:
As in the past Global Awards it will consist of 3 eminent writers.

Malayalee Association of Maryland (MAM) is conducting yet another GLOBAL AWARDS for “GLOBAL BEST JOURNALIST”. At a Press Conference MAM Chairman Mr. Thomas p. Antony outlined the details of the 2012 Global Competitions. The deadline for nomination is January 15, 2012.
Veteran Asianet & Mathrubhumi Journalist and winner of many Global Journalist Awards Dr. Krishna Kishore is the judging Panel Chairman.
